The Cathedral Steps

Bathed in an alluring festive glow, the Cathedral Steps really look the part when the market opens on 26 November 2019.

As part of the programme of festivities, the steps also provide a stage for the alphorn players, who create a magical atmosphere with their distinctive musical instruments.

Christmas carols are performed every Sunday on the Cathedral Steps. Local kindergartens lovingly prepare a programme of entertainment and round off their singing by lighting their homemade candles.
